A homegrown manufacturer, built for Malaysia's energy future.

About GMSB

GigaFactory Malaysia Sdn Bhd researches, engineers, and manufactures advanced battery technology — from first principles to production line.

Made in Malaysia, by Malaysians.

Our Story

GigaFactory Malaysia Sdn Bhd (GMSB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NMB (NanoMalaysia Berhad) Group, was established in 2022 with a bold ambition: to build own battery technology and manufacturing capability.

Today, we bring together research, engineering and production to turn homegrown innovation into advanced energy storage technologies.

At the heart of GMSB is a Malaysian team developing, engineering and manufacturing battery cells here at home. From today's technologies to the innovations we're developing for tomorrow, we're building local capability with ambitions that go far beyond our shores.

Mission

To accelerate battery innovation and manufacturing excellence through advanced technologies and sustainable solutions.

Vision

To become a regional hub in advanced battery technologies and energy storage manufacturing.

Core Values

Integrity, Innovation, Sustainability, Excellence, and Collaboration guide every decision we make.

Our facility

Inside Malaysia’s battery cell manufacturing base

Our Selangor facility houses the full development pathway under one roof — research laboratories, a pilot production line, and manufacturing floor — allowing us to move technology from concept to product with consistency and control.
